Ramble, ramble, ramble, VIDEO! VIDEO!, ramble, ramble, ramble

It’s nearly May which sort of happened much faster than I expected. The new term has started and of course it’s a lot more busy this time around. Also feels a lot more like I’m in school. The end of last term was awesome because I pulled a 4.0 (I’m proud; can you tell?). As a result I’ve been asked to join the honor society on campus. I was asked to join in high school, but I kind of thought they were a scam. Just another activity to make overachievers feel good about themselves. I was fine on my own thank you very much. For this invite, I went to an info meeting which actually turned out to be really good. I met a bunch of other overachievers who were kind of obsessed with, well, achieving. Many of them were non-traditional students like me who had all decided they wanted something different. Another bonus of this honor society: scholarships. Lots of them. Just for being in the honor society. I could get used to such pampering. So now I’m slightly obsessed with getting a 4.0 for the rest of my college-bound life. Part of me knows this is a little unrealistic. I’ll certainly get a B in some class or another, especially when I get to some of my higher level Exercise Science classes in another year or two, but it doesn’t mean I’m not pushing super hard for an A everywhere. Also, it means having nightmares about getting Cs which I had recently in the wake of having a speech due on the same day as my first Chem test and a whole bunch of homework due. Let this be a lesson to you kids. Don’t be a nerd like me.

Considering today is one of the first days back to my regular schedule of homework, writing, and more homework, I’ve decided to include some fun videos and stuff. Because I’m going to enjoy today and so should you.

Edit: This last video makes me a little teary every time I watch it.
